You added testers, you shared the link, but the testing link still isn't accessible. Nine times out of ten, the cause is the same.
You didn't press “Send” in Publishing overview
In Google Play Console, adding testers to a closed track is only half the job. The change sits as a pending publish until you go to the Publishing overview and press Send.
Until you send, Google does not process the change, so:
- The testing link returns an error or “not available”.
- Testers can't opt in.
- Your 14-day clock never starts.
How to fix it
- Open Publishing overview in Play Console.
- Review the pending changes.
- Press Send.
- Wait for Google to process it (this can take some time).
Once processed, your testing link works and testers can join.
Still not working?
